where is the ceremony & reception?

Both our ceremony and reception are at the gorgeous, historic venue - The Trust!

The Trust is located at 405 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, Australia.

HOW LONG BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

The celebration is continuous, with the ceremony flowing directly into cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing.

What time should I arrive?

We kindly ask that you arrive at 4:30pm for arrival drinks, for a 4:50pm start.

will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Known for its ‘four seasons in a day,’ Melbourne keeps us on our toes - which is why we’re so pleased that all wedding day events will take place indoors.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Our dress code is Black Tie to suit the elegance of the occasion. For men, this means a tuxedo or dinner suit with a bow tie, and for women, a full-length dress. As it will be a summer evening in Melbourne, we encourage you to have fun with colour, texture, and go all out!

Can I bring a plus one?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but our guest list is limited to those invited.

Please contact David or Tori if you’d like a plus one to other events (recovery, after party, welcome drinks).

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away during our ceremony, we’d love to see your smiles, not your phones! We have a wonderful photographer capturing those moments for us… so leave it to the pro.

Once the reception begins, please feel free to snap away and capture the fun.


Will there be other events in addition to the wedding day?

Absolutely! Please see the ‘Events’ section for further details.

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only evening. See this as a date night… on us!

Children are more than welcome at the surrounding events. Any further questions about this, please contact David or Tori. 

What about gifts? Is there a registry?

Many of you have travelled across the world or the country to attend our wedding, and having you celebrate with us is the biggest gift of all!

If your generosity truly overwhelms you, there will be a wishing well on the night.

Is there transportation provided?

No need! Our venue is right in the heart of Melbourne, easy to reach on foot or by public transport. While limited paid parking is available in the city, we recommend leaving the car at home. If you’re travelling in, there are plenty of great places to stay nearby (see our Travel page).
